In an age of revivals, reboots and reinventions, Melissa Rauch has found post-The Big Bang Theory success with night courtyard Renaissance. Staying in the sitcom business was an easy decision for the sitcom actress. Headlining the NBC reboot, Rauch thought about his previous comedy series and the night courtyard The star explained why waking up makes him want a wake up call The Big Bang Theory.
The sitcom veteran had been promoting the NBC reboot (currently available via subscription to Peacock). However, watching Rauch promote comedy has had The Big Bang Theory fans who wanted her and the cast to reunite for a revival. Like fans, the sitcom actress is interested in reprising her role as Bernadette, but she doesn’t want to do it anytime soon as the CBS sitcom wrapped up in 2019. Looking at the time lapse between the original night courtyard and the reset got Rauch thinking about a possible The Big Bang Theory the restart will take decades. The actress explained her thoughts to Boucleur:
The only way the idea came to me was when I was talking to John about his comeback. [to ‘Night Court’]. I thought about how I would feel if someone came to see me in 30 years and asked me if I would come back. We had these conversations because I wanted him to know that just as I would like someone to protect the legacy of what I did with that group of friends years ago, I would like it to be done for him too. But right now I’d be like, ‘Oh no, [‘The Big Bang Theory’] it ended so perfectly. I would never want to manipulate him.
They The Big Bang Theory The series finale was one of the best endings to a show in recent memory, as evidenced by its high ratings. Only the last apartment was the perfect final scene. All character stories were left open as the CBS sitcom ended very well. The series was the highest-rated sitcom for many seasons and received numerous accolades. Working with John Larroquette on night courtyard it was about continuing the legacy of the original series without ruining it. You want to make sure that equal care is given to big Bang if the classic CBS sitcom is revived.

I could see it happening. An awakening in this moment: I would say: ‘No, I don’t think so.’ But in 30 years, if someone knocks on my door like I did with John, never say never.
Melissa Rauch just wants the same courtesy she extended to actor Dan Fielding. It would be nice to find Bernadette and her company. over three decades to see how their lives have turned out since the end of the series. Perhaps her willingness to play Bernadette again will one day inspire a young writer, producer or actor to approach her in the same way. The only problem would be rebuilding the sets after they’re destroyed after the final shoot.
So with that said, for now, let’s focus on the night courtyard revival, airs Tuesdays on NBC at 8:00 pm ET. If you want to watch NBC’s original series, watch all nine seasons with a Prime Video membership. Meanwhile, you can watch every season of The Big Bang Theory through an HBO Max subscription.
