It’s been about six months since Chris Pratt’s series. list of terminals debuted on Amazon, and the streamer recently, and finally, announced that the second season of the Jack Carr adaptation is underway, and that wasn’t the only exciting news announced. Taylor Kitsch, who plays CIA Ground Branch agent Ben Edwards, is also getting his own spinoff series. Now he and Pratt are reacting to the big news.
While the series has received mixed reviews from critics, Chris Pratt shared that list of terminalsViewing numbers for it were in the billions when it comes to minutes watched, so it’s no surprise that Amazon wanted to renew it for a second season and more. Upon news of the renewal, Pratt took to Instagram to enthusiastically share his reaction and how excited he is to continue and expand on the conspiracy thriller:

After Chris Pratt’s original introduction video for list of terminals was released, it was easy to see why Amazon picked up the series and wanted to renew it. Pratt is very busy these days in film and television, adding an executive producer to his resume for both shows; so it should be interesting to see what happens. Since the second season is based on the book by Jack Carr. true believerIt will definitely be something to look forward to.
As for the spinoff series, Taylor Kitsch is equally excited to continue portraying her fan-favorite character in more depth. The series will follow Ben Edwards’ transition from Navy Seal to CIA officer, and Kitsch shared his excitement on Instagram:
Right now, the series doesn’t have a title and it’s unclear when it will release, but Kitsch doesn’t seem to mind, as it’s yet to come. It should be interesting to see Ben’s background before he joined the CIA and delve deeper into his character than he does. Prequels that focus on already established characters make a franchise that much more exciting to watch, especially if it’s set in a time viewers aren’t aware of.
It is unknown when the two seasons 2 of list of terminals and Ben Edwards’ untitled prequel is on its way to airing, but since the news has just been announced, it may take a while. Hopefully, Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch, along with the rest of the cast, will post some content on social media to keep fans busy. Though in the meantime, fans can at least hope to see Pratt reprise a different and beloved role when he returns as Star-Lord in guardians of the galaxy vol. 3 later in the 2023 movie schedule.
