What is Britney Spears doing? American collectors with Danielle Colby and Battlestar Galactica AND The Big Bang Theory guest star Katee Sackhoff do they all have in common? Well, they’ve each recently stopped caring and jumped in the tub for a fun photo shoot over the past few weeks (even though Spears was posting for her haters and Colby was posting for her). Sackhoff decided to get attention and raise money for a “good cause,” as she put it.
Katee Sackhoff is apparently friends with Chris Salgardo, the head of Atwater Skincare. She at least loves each other enough to be willing to not only run a non-brand endorsement ad, but strip down for it. She explained that Chris and her team were creating a body scrub and cleansing bar to raise $10,000 for the nonprofit RxArt, which helps “children heal through the power of the visual arts.”
Cool enough, but cool enough to step into a bathtub? It would seem so.
Katee Sackhoff loves having fun on her social media and has never been one to shy away from conversations about fitness and loving her body, and I can’t say stripping down for a good cause came as a surprise. In fact, she’s already done it once.
My favorite part of this post, however, is the fan response to the post. Many The Big Bang Theory Fans heard Sackhoff’s bathtub photo and recalled the time he jumped into the tub with Simon Helberg for a very memorable role on the CBS sitcom over a decade ago. A series of big Bang fans commented, showing that they have fond memories of Sackhoff’s guest appearance.
- “You sure Howard should be on the other side?”
- “It’s still one of Simon Hellberg’s dreams, isn’t it?”
- “I guess I wasn’t the only one thinking of Howard from The Big Bang Theory for this photo shoot.”
- “Why am I imagining Howard Wolowitz on the other side of the tub right now? 🤦♂️🤦♂️”
- “Howard must be very good at holding his breath 😉”
Chris Salgardo thanked the Battlestar Galactica prominent and frequent sci-fi star for his efforts, writing in the Instagram post:
I love [Katee Sackhoff]! Thank you for always mobilizing to support a great cause! Usually on a motorbike, but the tub is just as cool! 😘😘😘 you are a rock star!
It’s unclear if this will be the last of the tub photos for a good cause, but if Katee Sackhoff was hoping to get mine (and everyone else’s) The Big Bang Theory attention from fans ahead of the weekend, he certainly has it. Luckily I already needed soap…
