Steve-O writes and deletes an emotional response to Bam Margera’s Instagram regarding his sobriety: ‘You’re dying bro’

Reckless and reckless like him Donkey crew has been with their art, the band members seem to be suffering the most from a very personal breakup with Bam Margera. Like the ongoing drama between Bam and her ex Donkey she continues, a new social media post from her prompted Steve-O to comment on her sobriety. The message, later deleted, could be summed up in one sentence: “You are dying, brother”.

Bam Margera’s social media post that inspired Steve-O’s response

Steve-O’s response came after Bam Margera posted a message on instagram once again showing the cracks in his relationship with some of his own Donkey crew. Sharing an old photo of himself with Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O, Margera shared a post saying he recognized a friend in his corner as he called the other an “impostor.”

Bam Margera’s sobriety was a constant concern that garnered media attention when he was fired donkey forever. Several legal proceedings, along with some signs of improvement, made headlines after these initial reports; with Margera blaming the Donkey deductible for their addictions. This journey of recovery was what inspired me Steve-O will take Bam Margera on tour with him, as the two worked together on the opening material.

Working together again was like a sweet reunion of friends. More photos of Bam and Steve on their “Best Behavior Tour” show them just a week ago, smiling in front of a packed theater. Bam Margera’s incendiary post above sees him still giving Steve-O credit for having his back, despite continued deterioration Donkey situation. Unfortunately, this tour seems to have proved that Margera’s sobriety efforts have apparently hit a big deal.

Claiming that Bam Margera has backtracked on his efforts to stay sober, Steve-O’s comment doesn’t read as judgment or rebuke. It is an emotional plea to his friend to better himself and his son, who is also on tour like the two Donkey veterans are currently embarking.

The road has not been easy for Margera, especially after having been there declared dead battling COVID . While the “Best Behavior” tour seemed to be off to a good start, this latest hiccup proves to be another setback for Bam Margera and her path to sobriety.

Fans and friends will no doubt wish him the best of luck and hope Bam gets the help he needs to get back on his feet. But of course it’s people like Steve-O who support him the most, after so many years together in the trenches.

Even if it’s a mostly Bam-less affair, except for a gimmick donkey forever stunt that still stars Margera, you can watch the latest gag-filled adventure with a Paramount+ membership.
