Spoilers ahead for episode 10 of the winchesters Season 1, titled “Suspicious Minds”.
the winchesters there’s only a few episodes left of the season 1 finale with no current guarantee of a second season, so it’s a possibility for Supernatural fans tuned in that the prequel had a few nods to the original series, not the least of which Jensen Ackles AS Dean Winchester the same. Dean hasn’t had more than one photo appearance on ‘Suspicious Minds’, but was there an encore or was there an encore? – For SPN extension through a scene between John AND Married, and I was saddened for their future children. They could have had a normal childhood if their father had stuck to what he told Mary in this episode!
Sat and Dean, of course, spent fifteen seasons literally going back and forth through hell, with a lot of death and resurrection in between, and a lot of angst before a split ending that was kind of depressing. Supernatural he even forced them to admit that not only was John a bad father to them, but that John and Mary’s marriage was far from perfect.
In this sense, seeing Juan and María ever closer the Winchesters (including their first kiss in the fall finale) was bittersweet, although I won’t even try to make sense of this show’s timeline versus SupernaturalThe timeline itself is somewhat messy. The encore in “Suspicious Minds” was far more bitter than sweet for me, as it saw John and Mary agreeing that they should never lose their humanity, even if the other dies, after seeing someone do exactly that. . his wife. .
It’s a great feeling and made for a great scene between the soon-to-be weds, but like anyone who’s even watched the first season of Supernatural You know, John certainly didn’t take his pain gracefully and continued to raise his children as normally as possible. Dean did more to raise Sam than John, and Winchester’s older brother had many habits ingrained in him to follow in his father’s footsteps. He mostly had revenge on his mind for most of his episodes before he was killed. SPN extension.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan it was great and his return was a fitting way for the show to celebrate 300 episodes, but he just wasn’t a good father. He has given up his humanity to seek vengeance against the yellow-eyed demon. Certain, SupernaturalMary was not a saint, and viewers have seen some of her questionable decisions both in her children’s time travel and after her resurrection. Yet it was she in “Suspicious Minds” who insisted that giving up humanity to save someone isn’t love, it’s selfishness.
What if Juan realized this after Maria’s death in the original Supernatural timeline, so Sam and Dean could have had as normal a childhood as possible for two boys whose mother died in a fire. Granted, John and Mary may never have had this conversation in the original timeline, so John may not go back on his word to Mary for revenge.
Again, I really don’t know what to make of what the winchesters means for the Supernatural timeline (or vice versa), so this little exchange may not matter as anything but a reminder in the grand scheme of things. Whether it was canceled or it never officially happened or John just forgot about his quiet time with Mary as he was immediately followed up with his murder charge which brought me back to Supernatural and I’m just sorry for them boys from Winchester.
As for if any of these Winchester guys show up the Winchesters‘ remaining episodes, only time will tell. There are three episodes left and showrunner Robbie Thompson has promised a payout on all of Dean’s Easter eggs, but fans will have to keep tuning in. Thompson also shared in the fall that the show was going to screw up Supernatural Fan Expectations!
However, the next new episode won’t air for a few weeks, con the Winchesters Return to television with Season 1 Episode 11 on Tuesday, February 21 at 8:00 PM ET. In the meantime, you can always relive the adventures of Sam and Dean (with John and Mary mainly played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and samantha smith) with the fifteen seasons of Supernatural streaming available with a Netflix subscription.
