You People Star claims the kiss at the end of the film with Jonah Hill and Lauren London was fake and he had no idea

When the last Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill’s comedic effort , your people, which landed in streaming for those with a Netflix subscription, viewers rushed to watch the film. Despite some controversy and not-so-great reviews, it spent the longest time since its release as the number one film on the service, only recently being relegated to the service’s second most popular film. Netflix’s top 10 trends movie list But, now, we’ve learned from one of the actors that the kiss at the end of the sitcom, between Hill and Lauren London, was actually a fake, and he couldn’t really say anything.

What does a You People star say about the last kiss?

For those who haven’t seen the creepy comedy movie , follows Amira (London) and Ezra (Hill), an interracial Muslim and Jewish couple (respectively) who face major obstacles when they realize that their families may not be able to get along because of their points of view . and religion. The final moments of the story feature a celebratory kiss between the two characters once things are (essentially) settled, but when it comes to the film in the brilliant idiots podcasts, your people to discard Member Andrew Schulz claimed that Ezra and Amira’s last kiss was actually created using CGI. As he tells it:

I’m here, watching the wedding, and I see them come in to fuck and their faces freeze like this. And I’m like, ‘I wonder how they’re going to play that in the movie?’ Oh, they’ll probably just cut there. But in the movie, you could see their faces coming together, and then you could see their faces transform into a fake kiss.

You know, with all the mostly negative thoughts i had regarding this movie, at no point during that kiss or after did I even suspect it could have been done with CGI. As far as I know, at this point no one else involved in the film has confirmed this to be true, but if it is, I think whoever was responsible for bringing these faces together to kiss did a really good job.

Still, I’ve been wondering if we see Amira and Ezra kissing at other times in the film, and if those instances might seem weird, and from what I can tell (with no real experience spotting CGI tricks), their other two kisses blow up on. just as real.

Before revealing this intriguing tidbit, Schulz said maybe he shouldn’t be sharing his behind-the-scenes insights. But now we’re all wondering if he’s actually been spilling any secrets, so I can bet a lot of people will go back to the movie to see if they can now spot a fake kiss they didn’t see. notify first.
