Jeremy Renner has had a pretty tough new year which landed him in the hospital with some pretty serious injuries from a snowplow accident. All signs point to a long recovery period for the MCU actor, but if he still has a lot of physical healing to do, he could also be spending his time on social media promoting his many upcoming streaming projects on Disney+ and Paramount. +.
Jeremy Renner has posted on Instagram exactly six times since his terrible accident. The first was a photo of his own face, looking a little more scruffy, letting fans know he was okay and thanking everyone for their kind words. Four of the remaining five posts were promotional pieces for his two streaming shows. Renner has recently started promoting renovations, a new unscripted Disney+ series starring the actor.
Renovations it will follow the eponymous actor known for both his philanthropic work and his passion for cars. The four-part series will see Renner travel to different places around the world in need of help, where he will help build a unique vehicle that will help them. A promotion for Renovations was the last thing the actor posted on Instagram before his crash, saying the show would launch in early 2023. His most recent post indicates that the show may be on hold to allow him to recover before that Disney+ subscribers cannot watch it. .
However, Jeremy Renner fans needn’t wait for the new Disney+ show as the actor is already streaming on Paramount+ in season 2 of Mayor of Kingtown. Renner continued to promote the new season despite him essentially doing it while undergoing physical therapy and waiting for 30 broken bones to heal.
It definitely makes sense to promote Renner’s new shows, as his injuries will definitely keep him out of the picture to make new movies and TV shows at least for a while. It’s unclear if anything major will need to be delayed between Jeremy Renner’s upcoming projects, but it certainly wouldn’t be surprising. Even after his body is healed, he is likely to calm down to avoid further damage.
We hope Jeremy Renner recovers quickly and can get back to work when he’s ready. Until then, fans have at least the streaming projects he’s already finished to keep them entertained until he’s ready to come back.
