Actor Andrew Schulz has made a shocking revelation about Netflix’s latest hit movie, Your people: The final scene of the film, where the characters played by Jonah Hill and Lauren London languidly kiss, was produced with special effects.
“It’s kind of funny,” he said on his “The Brilliant Idiots” podcast. “I don’t know if I should say this, but in the final scene, they’re not kissing. It’s special effects. I swear to God.”
“I was there”
And the comedian added: “I was there. I was watching the wedding and I see them approach to kiss, then they stop. I was wondering how it was going to be in the movie, if he was going to cut at that moment.” “
“But in the movie we can see them kissing and we see how their face changes a little bit to make this fake kiss,” Andrew Shulz continues. In the film, this languid kiss, with “a little too much tongue”, is the last gag of the film.
Released at the end of January, Your people met with great success. Directed by Kenya Barris (Blackish), this comedy tells the love story between a Jewish man (Jonah Hill) and a black woman (Lauren London) and the difficult meeting of their cultures.
