Shemar Moore has a lot to celebrate these days, like the BREAK The star became a dad in January at the age of 52. After breaking the news of his baby boy, he decided to make his late mother’s wish come true, who passed away in early 2020. Now that Baby Moore is here, the actor pays tribute to his mother in a sweet and touching post that has the potential to bring almost anyone to tears.
On the anniversary of her mother’s death and what would have been her baby’s due date, Shemar Moore took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, complete with a sweet photo of their growing family. The post was a tribute to her mother and she talked about making her dreams come true. She just makes me wish she was there in person to celebrate with him:
It’s really touching to see how much Shemar Moore misses his mom, as it’s clear they were very close. However, the fact that little Frankie was born just before the anniversary of her grandmother’s death proves that miracles do happen to her and Moore doesn’t take it lightly. While she’s not around to see her granddaughter grow up, I can only imagine how much the actress will keep her mother’s memories alive as she tells her little girl all about her.
Since Moore celebrated her 52nd birthday last year, it almost seemed like her chance for a baby was past. Luckily, it happened by chance at the same time as hers BREAK the character Hondo was about to welcome his baby girl. It should be interesting to see whether Moore’s experience will intertwine with Hondo’s or vice versa, but either way it’s surreal to think how much his life has resembled his character’s lately.
Meanwhile, before becoming a father, Shemar Moore disposed of his father’s body for the sixth season of BREAK Last year. Now that he’s a father, I’m curious to see if he’ll bring him back, though it’ll probably be once. BREAK Filming for the season is complete. However, it seems there will always be fans who will flatter and perhaps even frame pictures of a shirtless Moore at his house. He just got more attractive as a father, in my opinion, so you never know.
Seeing Shemar Moore keep his mother’s memory alive with her baby is as sweet as ever, especially knowing that he has achieved one of her dreams. We hope to get more posts featuring little Frankie in the future, and pay even more tribute to his mom, who is definitely with him on her mind. Losing a loved one is never easy, but when miracles and coincidences include the birth of your daughter just weeks before your mother’s death anniversary, it seems like a good sign that all is well.
