I’ve worked with so many great directors, my desire to direct probably came more from working with directors I didn’t like. [laughs] unfortunately, and I won’t name them, but, yes, over the years you realize: ‘Oh wow. I have a point of view, I have a vision on this. I have been so lucky and lucky to be able to act in many movies where you are on set all day, every day for many years. And this in itself is an education. So yes, I’ve had the experience of both the people I want to be and the people I don’t want to be.

And I wanted people to be happy to come to work, excited to come to work. And when they were done with the movie for the good memories and for me, it was really important to set a good tone and keep everyone upbeat and excited about telling this story.
Lathan, who recently won Emmy recognition for the first time for guest star on the hit HBO series Succession with voicing Catwoman in the harley quinn series shared with Gossipify that he really made an effort to make his actors feel like “family” and in an overall good vibe like uphillThe Director When I spoke to one of his young stars, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, he also echoed Lathan’s hopes.
