An Egyptian lawyer, Mahmoud al-Semary, also filed a lawsuit this week against Netflix, accusing the platform of “infringement.” “What Netflix shows is not in accordance with Islam and the values ​​and principles of Egyptian society,” he wrote in his complaint.
