Jeremy Renner apparently teases his accident’s extensive surgeries with a new message

By all accounts, Jeremy Renner’s snowplow accident on New Year’s Day was quite a harrowing experience. Renner was seriously injured, the actor admitted he thought he was going to die. Luckily for him and all of us, he’s still with us, and now he can laugh a little at the ordeal. His rehabilitation is still ongoing and he is apparently starting to feel more like metal than man. At least according to his self-deprecating post.

Jeremy Renner posted the Chirping, and has six million followers, so I’m pretty sure it’s really him, with a photoshopped image of him looking like a cyborg, with Six Million Dollar Man’s old line “We can rebuild it,” as a legend. Renner probably feels that considering he’s probably had some pretty major surgeries, and it may not even have been done.

Jeremy Renner says he broke more than 30 bones when his snowplow ran over him, and you can’t break that many bones without getting major surgery. There are probably more than a few metal plates and pins that help hold things together now. While Renner still looks pretty normal, we probably don’t know what’s going on inside him.

Part of the image that I don’t know if it’s intentional, but might be, is that our cyborg Jeremy Renner has an artificial eye, and I can’t help but think about the fact that Renner says his eye is out somewhere. testing moment that is… quite simply… the worst thing he has ever heard in my life.

Whether or not it ultimately costs six million dollars to get Jeremy Renner fully back on his feet (and with American healthcare as that might be), the man will surely face what will be a very lengthy recovery process. Renner was still in great pain and did a lot of rehabilitation work to regain his strength. While constant exercise probably isn’t new to a guy who needs a lot to get into superhero movie shape, it’s probably a little more difficult now.

Luckily, the actor has proven to have a lot of motivation that helps him stay on track. Renner’s daughter leaves him encouraging notes which he says inspire him to continue working. He also has friends like Paul Rudd who send him funny videos encouraging him to improve. Though depending on Renner’s condition, laughter can hurt.

For what it’s worth, it’s been a minute since anyone has tried to reset the Six million dollar man, so it seems that in our world of constant remakes and reboots, it’s about time someone tried it again. We could do a lot worse than Jeremy Renner on a project like that, maybe he’ll get a new franchise out of it, which probably won’t be worth it, but it’s going to be something.
