So while we still have to wait months to officially arrive at Barbie Land, the actor behind Ken has given us a taste of things to come by sporting a look that would make Barbie proud.
Ryan Gosling recently attended an event by watch brand TAG Heuer and instead of wearing a typical black and white suit, she opted for a patterned blue suit and pink blouse. Besides his fabulous clothes, his hair was also in the service of Elder Ken-ergy. While he’s not the platinum blonde that his doll character in Greta Gerwig’s film has, he still gave off a Ken vibe with the blonde highlights. Overall it looks amazing in this one Barbie– looks great!
The reason Gosling dressed so beautifully is because he was attending the 60th anniversary of the TAG Heuer watch brand, a brand he has been an ambassador for for some time. Along with Patrick Dempsey and a few other A-Listers who also serve as brand ambassadors, the actors took to the stage to talk about their relationship with the company, according to DAY . With Grey’s Anatomy alum and Barbie star, the event also featured Euphoria Jacob Elordi e The White Lotus Alexandra Daddario as the brand’s new “watch wearer”.
So with her fellow fashion ambassadors in mind, Gosling had to show up in style, which she did in this blue and pink dress. Barbie-suit.
To celebrate the event, Gosling also released a short film titled The hunt for the Carrera , who also played sl former student Vanessa Bayer and was produced by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch. So not only was Gosling sporting a look that oozes Ken-ergy, but his little short on those fancy watches was also in service of Ken-ergy.
In general, the whole event once again proved that those who he doubted that Ryan Gosling’s ability to play Ken was flawed and fits perfectly with the main man of the Barbie to discard . From the gorgeous navy suit accessorized with the hot pink shirt to the silly shorts, this event made me even more excited for this highly anticipated summer blockbuster and made me want to dress up as characters Barbie more and more.
Considering Barbie not hitting theaters until July 21, there’s still a lot of anticipation before we see Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie on screen as Ken and Barbie. In the meantime, I’m sure both actors, but especially Gosling, will serve Barbie and Ken-ergy before the film’s release.
