Dahmerthe miniseries from prolific producer Ryan Murphy (american horror story) about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, has enjoyed worldwide success since it was released on the Netflix streaming platform on September 21.
With 196.2 million hours viewed, the miniseries dedicated to the ‘Milwaukee Cannibal’ is the most watched content on Netflix last week. A success that was accompanied by several controversies in the United States, in particular with the relatives of the murderer’s victims, who reproach the platform for their complacency with the subject.
Ryan Murphy called Evan Peters, one of his favorite actors, to play this famous serial killer, who murdered seventeen men between 1978 and 1991 and admitted to having carried out numerous necrophiliac and cannibalistic acts with his victims.

The cast is made up notably of Penelope Ann Miller and Richard Jenkins (his parents), Shaun Brown (who plays his latest victim, the only one who got away) and Niecy Nash (Glenda Cleveland, his neighbor who often alerted the police in vain).
Ryan Murphy surrounded himself with his usual collaborator Ian Brennan and Carl Franklin, who signed four episodes of the second season of mind hunteranother series about serial killers from the 1970s.
Ryan Murphy has signed a lucrative $300 million contract. He produced and directed several series for the streaming giant (Hollywood, Halston, The politician) and movies (the boys in the band, The prom) with mixed success.
