This visit should take place a few days before that of Pope Francis, who will celebrate mass at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille on September 23.
Charles and Camilla’s visit was originally scheduled for March 26-29. But on March 24 that trip had been “postponed” due to the mobilization against the pension reform, which was then in full swing.
“Given the announcement of a new national day of action against the pension reform on Tuesday, March 28 in France, the visit of King Carlos III, initially scheduled for March 26 to 29 in our country, will be postponed,” announced the Elisha on March 24. , specifying that the decision had been taken jointly by the French and British governments.
