Accused by several women, the Rammstein singer denies sexual abuse

More than a dozen women accuse the singer and leader of the German metal band, Till Lindemann, of sexual assault after concerts.

The singer of the German metal band Rammstein, Till Lindemann, accused by several women of sexual assault after concerts, strongly denies these accusations, his lawyers said in a statement Thursday.

“On social networks, in particular Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, several women made serious allegations against our client,” write Berlin-based lawyers Simon Bergmann and Christian Schertz.

“I have also affirmed to many reprises that the women are available are drugged by the aid of GHB or by alcohol during the Rammstein concerts, in order to allow our clients to be free from sexual acts on them”, added- they.

“These accusations are invariably false,” the lawyers say. “We will immediately take legal action for all these accusations,” they threaten.

Victims sighted in the front rows of concerts

The case began at the end of May with the testimony of a 24-year-old Irish woman who accused the singer and lyricist of the group of having drugged and sexually assaulted her after a concert that same month in Lithuania.

This testimony freed the words of other young women, all describing more or less the same scenario.

The groupies would have been seen in the front rows of concerts, filmed or photographed so that Till Lindemann could make his choice, before some of them were invited backstage for parties. Some would then have been drugged before being attacked by the 60-year-old singer.

Several concert halls, in particular in Munich and Berlin, where the German group will perform, in full European tour, have given up installing the area (“Row Zero”) right in front of the stage where the singer would have seen the young women .
