Faced with a seasonal flu epidemic of still high intensity in mid-January, the vaccination campaign will be extended by a month in France, until the end of February, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday evening.
Given that “the circulation of influenza viruses remains very active in mainland France and overseas”, “the joint vaccination campaign against influenza and Covid-19 is extended until February 28, 2025” and “the fragile people to get vaccinated without delay”, according to a press release from the General Directorate of Health.
