Emmanuel Macron inaugurated this Monday the website of the National Council for Refoundation (CNR), which started on September 8, in order to involve citizens in the work of this political body. In a speech broadcast on his social networks, he called on the French to imagine “projects for change”, “very concrete ideas”, and to “share them on” conseil-refondation.fr “.
“Until now, participate,” insisted the head of state. Objective: “In all parts of the territory where people are volunteering, to be able to capture the key questions that they are asking.”
Launch of the CNR on health and education
At the same time, the President of the Republic announced the launch of “two great national projects”. One about school, the other about health. The CNR on education will begin on Monday with a training of representatives of the academies in the Ministry of Education. Then, Minister Pap Ndiaye will visit schools in Eure-et-Loir and Martinique.
Emmanuel Macron wants to bring “teachers, school principals, parents, students, elected officials” around the table to adequately address the difficulties “and build a roadmap.”
“From the beginning of next year there will be concrete answers and things that will change,” warned the head of state, citing as examples “a room that will be open in such a place,” “in such another, a teaching post.” that will be created, time that will be released for a master”.
The CNR on health will take place at the Sarthe “from October”. Emmanuel Macron wants to apply the “same approach” as for education. “The answer is closer to the ground,” said the head of state. According to him, “there is not one answer, there are thousands”, according to the territories.

So far, the National Council for Refoundation has had little success, being boycotted by the opposition who see it as a way to circumvent Parliament.
