The government will approve in September the diploma that extends the credit subsidy support scheme and clarifies the criteria for access to income support, the presidency minister, Mariana Vieira da Silva, said on Thursday.
Speaking at the end of the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the minister stressed that this review, already announced by the government in July, is intended to meet the less expressive demand than expected regarding this support.
Asked about the president of the republic’s veto on more housing, Mariana Vieira da Silva said that this law is just one of the pillars in the response to the housing problem.
