“Twelve hours on the planet Mars”: Bompard, Faure and Tondelier “disappointed” after the meeting with Macron

The unprecedented political meeting in Saint-Denis between Emmanuel Macron and party leaders ended overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. “We were disappointed,” said Marine Tondelier, director of EELV.

After twelve hours, the leaders of the political parties left the house of education of the Legion of Honor in Saint-Denis, where they had a long meeting with Emmanuel Macron. “We came, we saw and we were disappointed,” said Marine Tondelier, leader of the EELV, together with the first secretary of the PS, Olivier Faure, and the coordinator of La France Insoumise, Manuel Bompard.

“It’s a bit out of step with what the French expect,” he told reporters.

“I had the impression of living 12 hours on the planet Mars. (…) Emmanuel Macron did not make any announcements,” said Manuel Bompard (LFI).
