The leader of the PSD faction, Joaquim Miranda Sarmento, opined Monday that the government’s proposed 2023 state budget (OE2023) has “little news” and does not contribute to the country’s economic growth.
“It’s a state budget (OE) with little news”said the leader of the Social Democratic Group, on the river beach of Monsaraz, in the municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz (Évora), where he accompanied the party chairman on the “Sentir Portugal” program.
Asked by journalists about the OE2023 proposal submitted by the government to the Assembly of the Republic (AR) this Monday, Miranda Sarmento presented three critical comments on the part of the Social Democrats.
“It is an OE in line with the last seven of this government, which is pursuing an economic policy that does not bring economic growth to Portugal,” started with criticism.
