Éric Ciotti sees in Laurent Wauquiez the natural candidate of the Republicans in 2027
Which candidate for LR in 2027? For the LR deputy for the Alpes-Maritimes Éric Ciotti, the choice is already made and it is Laurent Wauquiez, president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
“A personality has the best qualities to embody the future of the right: Laurent Wauquiez. He is the best placed,” says Éric Ciotti, Saturday at the JDD.
“He has a courageous vision of France and its future,” he said, calling for a candidate to be nominated quickly, perhaps “as early as 2023.”

Bernard Cazeneuve launches a manifesto for “another left”
The former Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, opposed to the agreement between the PS and the LFI at the Nupes, considers that “one other gauche is possible, which breaks the outrage and sectarianism”, in a manifesto published on Sunday within the JDD.
Observing a “devastated political panorama”, Bernard Cazeneuve, who left the PS after the Nupes agreement, believes that “neither the anemic relative majority (of the Macronists), nor the opposition mainly animated by radicalism seem capable of responding to expectations of our compatriots”.

Budget 2023: Gabriel Attal wants to work with the opposition to avoid using 49.3
