Pedro Nuno’s candidacy for the PS leadership says it has the support of 79 out of 120 deputies

Pedro Nuno Santos’ candidacy for the post of PS secretary general has the support of 79 of the 120 socialist deputies, including the bank’s vice-presidents Porfírio Silva, Pedro Delgado Alves and Rui Lage.

The list of supporting deputies sent to the Lusa agency by the source of the candidacy of the former Minister of Infrastructure and Housing also includes the PS National Secretary responsible for governance, Vera Braz.

Of the 41 deputies who remain outside the list of supporters, some have not yet expressed any position between the candidacies of the former JS leader and the current Minister of the Interior, José Luís Carneiro, according to the same source.
