Deputy RN Jean-Philippe Tanguy defended this Sunday, June 8 “a political pressure” against the Executive “on Sunday, June 8 to demonstrate that only the road to the polls is possible, therefore, the dissolution” of the National Assembly, during an interview in LCI. The Somme deputy considered that “every month lost by France is paid hard for our compatriots”, while recalling that a new dissolution of the National Assembly could only be constitutionally possible at the beginning of the school year.
“We respect the deadlines, so that the debate is carried out on the merits, in the realities, and that the French and the French really know why they vote: for the end dead with Mr. Macron or by a break towards a better future with Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen,” he submitted the chosen official of the right end.
Censorship
Jean-Philippe Tanguy also warned that “if the path shown by Mr. Bayrou, it is still a dead end, we will censor (the government) because we do not want to go to this dead end.”
“Mr. Bayrou has announced deadlines. The French and the French, including part of those who vote for us, expect these deadlines. We respect this process and we are waiting to see the great options that Mr. Bayrou will do,” he added, in particular to the conclave on pensions, but also the 2025 budget.
On Saturday, an Elabe survey for the gallery on Sunday and BFMTV lent about 33% of the voting intentions in the first round to the RN candidates in case of new early legislative elections, a score comparable to what the party had compiled on June 30, 2024. But, it raised this same study, two Thirds of those questioned are unfavorable to a new dissolution.
With respect to the voting system, that Prime Minister, François Bayrou, wishes to transmit proportional, Mr. Tanguy recalled that his training was favorable, although “it would be more difficult for (the RN) to have most of the deputies” than to preserve the current uninominal voting system with two rounds.
