*”Everything will not be applicable”: Olivier Faure judges that the PNF must change its program in the case of a left government

The guest of “in front of BFM” on Monday, the first secretary of the Socialist Party believes that the forces of the left must review their joint program in case of arrival in Matignon because “we would all block us”, if necessary.

“I do not ask for any support from anyone, I want to be judged by the acts.” Guest at the BFMTV set on Monday, September 1, reaffirms that you are ready to enter Matignon as prime minister. It is said that the PS is, in recent days, ready to govern when its deputies will not vote for the Government on September 8.

On Friday night, the socialist claimed to want to form a government “from Ruffin to Glucksmann”, without the party of Jean-Luc Mélenchon and his rebel. In this context, is the popular frontal program relevant?

“Not everything will be applicable,” acknowledges the first secretary of the Socialist Party.

“Be up to expectations”

“We are not the absolute majority,” he justifies. “This idea of doing all my program, like Jean-Luc Mélenchon had mentioned, is not imaginable. Because we would be blocked by all,” he adds.

However, “everything that is possible to do immediately, to allow people to expect their lives, we do it immediately and we do not expect. This is how we will be up to the expectations we could collect a year ago.

Olivier Faure wants to face what he describes as “existential threat”: the arrival of the national demonstration in force in the next elections. “Could there be a programmatic agreement (with the PFN)? Certainly, there are many issues on which we do not agree. Could there be a defensive agreement in the constituencies in which we are threatened to see the extreme right of prevailing? There, I say it is discussed,” he insists on the socialist.

“I would never forgive me for having irresponsibility, making sure to unwind the red carpet to Jordan Bardella or Marine Le Pen,” he adds.

For its part, the rebellious France first demands the resignation of Emmanuel Macron and an early presidential election and threatens to “nail” the prime minister that the head of state would choose to replace François Bayrou.
