Socialists ready to “serve” in Matignon. “Now he is on the left, he came to the head (of the last legislative elections, note of the editor) to govern,” launched on Monday, September 8 at the Gallery of the National Assembly, the head of the Socialist Deputies Boris Vallaud, a few minutes after a vote of confidence that he should, unless he is surprised, leads to the fall of the government of François Bayrou.
“We only have one requirement: serve,” said the PS deputy, before creating a possible method to enter Matignon. “It is in Parliament, without resorting to 49.3, that we will look for the text of the majority by text,” he promised.
“We are ready, who raises,” concluded Boris Vallaud, heading to Emmanuel Macron.
François Bayrou “not there”
Landes’ deputy also accused Prime Minister François Bayrou of not having “been there” in Matignon, pointing to him “informal, dilatory maneuvers, false promises and real betrayals.”
“We regret not having been able to trust you,” he added with respect to what he had indicated the “vacations” of the elected officials, especially the PS, to justify the absence of negotiations with the left in the budget this summer.
The leader of the Socialist Group in the National Assembly denounced a “moral failure” and a “change” in the government’s decision to request the confidence of the deputies without much hope of winning this vote.
