The first secretary of the Socialist Party Olivier Faure called on Sunday, September 14 to exhibit the Palestinian flag in the municipalities on September 22, the day of the recognition planned by France of the Palestinian State.
“On September 22, when France will finally recognize the Palestinian State, we float the Palestinian flag in our municipalities,” the PS chief wrote on the social network X, above an article related to the propalenial manifestations that, in Spain, strongly interrupted the course of the Vuías cycling test.
President Emmanuel Macron went to New York in early next week to participate in a co -school conference in Paris and Ryad, during which he promised to announce the recognition of France from the Palestinian State.
“A demagogic and a clientelist that overcomes”
Responding to the arrest of an Internet user who pointed out in X that the date of October 22 also corresponded this year to Rosh Hachana, the Jewish New Year, Olivier Faure also wrote: “While you think you cannot celebrate the Jewish New Year and the year 1 of a Palestinian state, you will only sow hatred, despair and death.”
The president of the Council Representative of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF) Yonathan Arfi reacted on X to the words of Olivier Faure.
“I do not remember that you have asked the municipalities to show the portraits of the hostages selected in Gaza. Neither the South or Kosovo Sudan flags when France recognized them,” he said. “France needs appeasement, without demanding demagogic and clientelist,” he added.
