PNF survey on the 2017 and 2022 campaigns: Macron calls for “light to be shed”

The National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) opened two judicial investigations at the end of October related to the intervention of consulting firms in the electoral campaigns of 2017 and 2022. “It is normal for justice to do its job, it does it freely,” justifies the president.

This is his first reaction since the press release from the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office.

“Let all the light be shed and all transparency be made,” the president called on the sidelines of his trip to Dijon into the microphone of BFMTV.com.

“It is normal for justice to do its job, it does it freely (…) The accounts of the 2017 campaign have already been presented and verified like the other candidates,” the Head of State also advanced, who also assured that he is not in the “heart of Of the investigation”.
