Jean-Philippe Tanguy, RN deputy for Somme, announces on BFMTV-RMC this Thursday, October 23, that the National Assembly will vote in favor of the suspension of the pension reform within the framework of the Social Security budget for 2026.
“Obviously we will vote in favor of the suspension. We are never in favor of the politics of the worst,” he says on our antenna.
The elected representative of the flame party also declares himself “proud to have obtained, thanks to the sagacity of Marine Le Pen, this letter” that modifies the Social Security budget.
The letter of amendment presented to the Council of Ministers
In fact, Sébastien Lecornu had indicated this Tuesday, October 21, that he had submitted a letter of amendment to the Council of State “tonight” so that this suspension would be mentioned in the social security budget.
This technical procedure allows the Social Security budget to be modified if it had to be approved by order before the Council of Ministers. Currently, the social security budget, which must be repeated verbatim by the ordinances, does not contain any mention of the suspension of the pension reform.
This amending note, which still must be approved by the Higher Council of Public Finances and the Council of Ministers, must, therefore, reflect this modification. A council of ministers this Thursday will allow this change to be approved.
