PSD president Luís Montenegro this Monday accused the prime minister of condemning the executive director of the National Health Service and oversight minister to failure, saying the policy will remain the same.
“This executive director of the National Health Service and the health minister are doomed from day one. When the prime minister said, after he replaced the chief of health, that he would change the minister, but that the policy would be the same, he condemned the minister and his associates to failure,” said the Social Democratic leader.
Luís Montenegro spoke to journalists in Vila Velha de Ródão, where he traveled as part of the second day of the program “Sentir Portugal”, which started on Sunday in the Castelo Branco district.
The PSD leader stressed that without changing health policies, “the results are the same”.
“If they [ministro da tutela e diretor do SNS] change of their policies will disown the Prime Minister. It is a mess, which, incidentally, dominates the first months of this cabinet term,” he emphasized.
