“Les Bleus made us dream”: Macron and the political class welcome the departure of the French team

A large part of the political class congratulated the French team after their defeat on penalties against Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the World Cup final this Sunday in Qatar.

“Blues made us dream,” French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted after watching France’s defeat in the 2022 World Cup final against Argentina from the Qatar stands.
