LIVE – Emmanuel Macron will send his wishes to the French

If Emmanuel Macron will deliver the first wishes of his second five-year term tonight, the exercise is not new to him. He had already fulfilled it for the past five years during his first term.

Marine Le Pen sent her wishes to the French in a video broadcast on her social networks.

In a context marked according to her by the “war in Ukraine”, “unemployment” and an “almost unprecedented energy crisis”, “poorly controlled inflation” and “almost endemic violence”, she calls on the French “for solidarity, fraternity and civil harmony”.

However, this situation “invites all the citizens that we are, not to fall into fatalism […] but to mobilization”, according to Marine Le Pen. She sees in the result of the National Rally (RN) in the last legislative elections -marked by the arrival of 89 deputies to the Palais Bourbon- “the first sign of this beginning of which France now He urgently needs it.”

The year 2023 “should not scare us,” exhorted the patron saint of RN deputies in the National Assembly. And to add her, in a “message of hope”:

“Never is our country bigger and braver than in the test.”

Facing the next deadlines, the extreme right-wing elected official judges that “our country must now equip itself with leaders who are sensitive to the daily difficulties […] progressive in their vision and above all attached to the national interest”.

Marine Le Pen assures him: according to her, “this renovation to which everyone aspires and on which we will work will come”.

Emmanuel Macron wishes to place his end-of-year wishes under the sign of optimism. According to the head of state’s entourage, he would be willing to reassure the French with a message of “unity and trust.”

In rather classic fifteen-minute wishes, Emmanuel Macron should acknowledge that times are difficult, that there have certainly been crises in 2022 but that the efforts have been worth it.
