His statement had made the political class react. Marine Tondelier, national secretary of the EELV, was the guest of BFMTV on Tuesday night to notably debate this new day of mobilization against the pension reform, a reform of “social contempt” according to her.
The new head of the party, during the Nupes meeting against the government text on January 17, advocated “a France without billionaires”, calling them “vampires”. A phrase on which he returned to our antenna.
“When I say I don’t want billionaires anymore, I’m not saying we should cut off their heads as Bruno Le Maire claimed,” Marine Tondelier said on BFMTV.
“Stanislas Guérini said on this set that he wanted to remove the officials, everyone understood that he did not want to kill them. It’s the same there, ”he added.
“My problem is more the billions than the people”
“When I say ‘vampires’ I do mean: when we accumulate so much money, it is either by exploiting natural resources, or by exploiting men, women and sometimes even children, or all of that at the same time,” he continued.
“My problem is more the billions than the people who have them,” he continued, eventually advocating a better distribution of wealth “through taxes.”
