“I will go on Sunday night with my wife at the invitation of King Charles. Obviously we will be at the queen’s funeral the next day. It will be a moment of contemplation and emotion together with the British people,” Emmanuel Macron said on Friday. .
“I had the opportunity to invite, but things will happen in due time, that King Charles comes to France, when it corresponds to him,” added the head of state.
Stéphane Bern, who today accompanied Emmanuel Macron in Creuse as part of the Heritage Days, assured that “the gift that France will give to the new king is very symbolic.”
