Olivier Dussopt admits it himself: he was “hit by the patrol”. This Thursday, the deputy Les Républicains (LR) Aurélien Pradié noticed that the Minister of Labor was doing crossword puzzles during the examination of the pension reform, and intervened to point it out.
“I made a mistake,” Olivier Dussopt admitted on BFMTV-RMC on Friday.
“I opened a door during a break in the session and the patrol car caught up with me.”
“We’ve been there fifteen days”
The former socialist then defended himself by declaring: “There are so many session interruptions that yes, I opened a grill, but we have been the same for fifteen days”, about the examination of this pension reform.
Aurélien Pradié’s intervention had aroused the applause of several rebel deputies. Some elected members of the group, such as Thomas Portes – who is currently excluded from the National Assembly – saw it as a form of “disrespect”.
