PS summons former secretaries of state Miguel Pinto Luz and Isabel Castelo Branco to parliament

The PS parliamentary group will convene the former secretary of state and current vice president of the PSD Miguel Pinto Luz and the former ruler Isabel Castelo Branco on the privatization process of TAP.

“We will make a new request next week to hear former Secretary of State Miguel Pinto Luz, former Secretary of State for Finance Isabel Castelo Branco and the President of Parpública. [Pedro Pinto] that on that dawn, twelve days after that government took office and two days after she landed here, with a motion of rejection, signed the contract with you [David] Neelman and Mr. Humberto Pedrosa”announced Eurico Brilhante Dias.

After the session of the bank, the leader of the PS spoke to journalists and said that the socialists want to hear these former rulers in the parliamentary committee for the economy.

The socialist leader rejected that this request could be seen as a “settlement” with the PSD.

“We do not settle bills. Scores are not welcome in politics, but it is clear that we are not blind, we are not deaf. What has happened in recent weeks is that unknown facts have come to light and that can don’t leave us indifferent,” he replied.

In the 20th Constitutional Government (PSD/CDS), led by Pedro Passos Coelho, Miguel Pinto Luz was Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications and Isabel Castelo Branco was Secretary of State for Finance.
