Regretting that the government refuses to withdraw its text, currently being examined in the Senate, the inter-union wanted a “massive” participation in the processions.
At the national level, the CGT announces 3.5 million protesters, the most important figure given by the union since the beginning of the mobilization. The Ministry of the Interior declares for its part 1.28 million protesters in France, slightly more than on January 31, when the police gave 1.27 million.

The discrepancies in the figures between the unions and the authorities are sometimes extremely pronounced. In Paris, for example, the police headquarters counted 81,000 protesters, less than on January 31 and February 11. For its part, the CGT gave its highest figure for the capital since the beginning of the mobilization, with 700,000 demonstrators.
In several cities, such as Marseille, the unions have counted their highest number of protesters since the start of the movement: the Marseillaise city saw 245,000 people march. The authorities, however, give a figure of 30,000 protesters, compared to 40,000 on January 31.
The inter-union called for a new day of mobilization this Saturday, March 11.
