The head of the deputies of LR, Olivier Marleix, welcomed a “progress” in the compromise on pensions reached on Wednesday between deputies and senators, although according to him, some of his group “will not want to vote” on the reform.
“For us it is necessary, it is a measure of recovery of the country,” the deputy for Eure-et-Loir told reporters after the meeting of the Mixed Mixed Commission.
Olivier Marleix explained that “until now the system of long races was unfair, because it sometimes required a duration much longer than the legal”. From now on “from 43 annuities we can leave,” he added.
“Après, tout le monde ne begins pas sa vie professionnelle le même jour, ne fête pas son anniversaire le même jour, il ya des gens pour qui les durées (de cotisation, NDLR) dépassent un tout petit peu”, at -he explains .
“It is a real advance, it is two years less than some will be imposed”, he insisted, while this issue of long careers gave rise to fierce debates in LR, some of the deputies taken by the elected Lot Aurélien Pradié refused to vote on the text. if the duration of the contribution exceeds 43 years.
The vote of the deputies of LR, crucial for the approval of the text
Will the compromise reached on Wednesday be enough to convince the slingers? “In my group, as in the majority on the other hand, there are deputies who will not want to vote for this reform,” admitted Olivier Marleix.
The text must be presented on Thursday to the Senate and then to the National Assembly where the vote of the 61 deputies of the LR is crucial.
While the LFI deputy, Mathilde Panot, called him “pensions minister” for this agreement with the Macronista majority, Olivier Marleix repeated his status as “opposition deputy”. “He’s not likely to be a candidate at all,” he said. But “I cannot vote against a reform essential to the national interest,” he added.
