“Rui Nabeiro was a good man, an example of entrepreneurial capacity and social responsibility,” Luís Montenegro praised via a post on the social network Twitter in which he offered “sincere condolences” to the family of the businessman who died today at the age of 91.
For the leader of the PSD, Rui Nabeiro has “shown that it is possible to create wealth with work and innovation and that jobs and wage quality are generated from there”.
Businessman Rui Nabeiro, founder of Grupo Nabeiro – Delta Cafés, died today at age 91, a victim of illness, at Hospital da Luz, in Lisbon, a source for the group told Lusa.
“It is with great regret that the Nabeiro family announces that today, March 19, Commander Manuel Rui Azinhais Nabeiro, President and Founder of the Nabeiro Group – Delta Cafés,” can be read in a statement sent by the group.
Commander Rui Nabeiro “was hospitalized in Hospital da Luz due to respiratory problems”, the same source added, referring to “the date and program of the funeral will be communicated in due course”.
