The former president of the Government Valls was the guest of BFMTV this Wednesday night. The one that comes out Courage guided his steps reacted to Emmanuel Macron’s intervention on the subject of pension reform. Although the government text was adopted using Article 49.3 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic reaffirmed the need, in his opinion, for this reform.
“I don’t easily throw stones at those who govern us,” Manuel Valls said on our antenna, not without being critical of the Executive.
“You have to find the words”
The former Beauvau tenant recalled the context of the 2022 presidential election, namely a victory for Emmanuel Macron allowed by the Republican front against Marine Le Pen. In addition, Manuel Valls recalled that the results of the legislative elections resulted in a relative majority for the presidential party.
“Since you have not only public opinion but all the unions against you, there will surely be a form of brutality,” the former prime minister said on our antenna.
“We have to find the words, the measures for tomorrow, that is what worries me”, added Manuel Valls, “in a democracy as fragile as ours, the Head of State must renew the contract with our compatriots”.
