Emmanuel Macron declared this Monday before the leaders of the presidential majority and the tenors of the Government meeting at the Élysée Palace that it was necessary to “continue reaching out” to the unions and accused the Insoumi of wanting to “delegitimize” the institutions.
“We must continue to reach out to the union forces,” he said according to comments reported by participants on BFMTV. “There is a real political project led by rebellious France that is trying to delegitimize the reasonable order, our institutions,” added the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic asked the majority to work with elected officials, social partners and mayors. The objectives: appease, continue with the reforms and repair public services.
