Insubordinate France will not ask Adrien Quatennens to resign from his position as deputy

The rebel Manuel Bompard judges that the withdrawal of Adrien Quatennens from his post as coordinator of rebel France is “sufficient”.

What to do with Adrien Quatennens? Will he be able to continue being a deputy when he acknowledged in a press release several violent gestures towards his wife, Céline Quatennens? The rebels seem to have decided. This Wednesday, Manuel Bompard spoke on this issue before several journalists in the National Assembly.

“We are not asking for the resignation of Adrien Quatennens. We are very firm on this issue,” said the LFI deputy from Bouches-du-Rhône.

Manuel Bompard thus judged that the withdrawal of Adrien Quatennens from his post as coordinator of insubordinate France was “sufficient”.

“I’m not sure I’m welcome”

Several elected officials demanded the resignation of the latter. “I don’t think his place is in the hemicycle,” said Aurore Bergé on BFMTV on Tuesday.

And to add: “I am not sure that he is welcome in view of the facts of which he is accused”

More than 500 feminist activists demanded the resignation of Adrien Quatennens from his parliamentary mandate. In a column published by Release On Tuesday, they write in particular that “the aggressors and perpetrators of violence cannot represent our political struggles.”
