Luís Montenegro this Thursday accused the government of not telling the truth about the legal opinion supporting the exoneration of TAP’s executive management.
“We have a prime minister and four ministers (Finance, Infrastructure, Parliamentary Affairs and the Presidency) playing with the Portuguese. The government said it was not possible to release the information due to the defense of the state, which is a confidential matter and now the opinion is the opinion of the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) which has been public for a month and a half? not tell the truth,” the PSD leader stressed, on the sidelines of a visit to a university residence in Lisbon.
Montenegro also criticized the rush to pass the euthanasia law and reinforced its intention to move forward with a referendum. “The intention to hold a referendum is always open. It is a pity that a young person drops out of studies because he cannot pay for accommodation” , he emphasized.
