MEPs interrupted their work to observe a minute’s silence in tribute to the victims of the stabbing of children near Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie.

An act of solidarity, after several people, including children, were attacked with a knife near Lake Annecy. The perpetrator of these events was detained by the police, according to a police source. The judicial police moved to the place.
“The Prime Minister comes to the place, there are very young children who are in a state of absolute emergency and I invite them to respect a minute of silence for them, for their family”, declared Yaël Braun-Pivet, president of the National Assembly Council to the deputies .
