This Wednesday, Benfica was one step away from being proclaimed roller hockey national champion for the 24th time, beating Sporting 4-2 at home, in the third match of the final of the playoffs.
Carlos Nicolía scored, in four direct free kicks (minutes 29, 29, 30 and 38), the goals of the red formation, which at half-time was losing 1-0, while Nolito scored the two goals for the lions (16 and 36 ), the first direct free.
The fourth game of the final, which Benfica leads 2-1, is scheduled for Sunday, at Pavilhão João Rocha, and, if necessary, the fifth game will take place on June 21 (Wednesday), in Luz.
