General Assembly of Benfica approves negative accounts for 2021/22

Benfica’s General Assembly approved this Thursday the Report and Accounts 2021/22, which covers the period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, with a negative net result of more than 35 million euros.

In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the SAD of the ‘incarnates’ reports the approval of negative accounts for “35,016,851 euros”.

Benfica also advances that “the proposal for the application of results was approved, with the result calculated in the period being transferred to accumulated results.”

In the same General Assembly, a “vote of confidence was also given to the Board of Directors and the Surveillance Council, as well as to the respective members and the Statutory Auditor, for the exercise of their positions” he asks.

Also according to the statement, the “approval of the remuneration policy of the administration and supervision bodies and of the members of the Board of Directors of the General Assembly”, as well as the “election of the members of the Remuneration Committee for the rest of the four-year term.” 2021/2025″.
