Rafa claims a contract with values of around three million 500 thousand euros per year, a value that Benfica’s SAD considers impossible to achieve.
Rui Costa’s management continues to speak with the player’s representatives, especially since Benfica’s SAD considers Rafa to be an important element for the club’s project in the football team led by Roger Schmidt.
Rafa’s contract ends at the end of next season, and from January he can sign a contract with another club at zero cost.
According to the newspaper Record, the Benfica winger also has a proposal for Saudi Arabian football, with annual values close to seven million euros, but Rafa gives priority to playing in Portugal and European football.
