The arrival of a new coach, apparently the Spanish Marcelino, will mean a change in the tactical scheme of Marseille.
The French team wants to reinforce the options of the midfield, but also the forward. According to the French press, Marseille sees the hiring of Taremi as a good option to join the other strikers in the working group: the Portuguese Vitinha and the Chilean Alexis Sánchez.
FC Porto needs to raise money to balance the club’s SAD accounts, but Pinto da Costa’s management is also unwilling to sell the main players at asking price, moreover, since he is the team’s top scorer.
Taremi’s agent, Iranian Alireza Nikoomanesh, revealed that the striker has received a proposal from Saudi Arabian soccer in recent weeks, but for now the player maintains his preference to continue playing in Europe.
The striker has a termination clause of 60 million euros, and one more year on his contract with FC Porto. The blue and white SAD only agrees to start negotiating for amounts close to 35 million euros, the same amount that Al Hilal agreed to pay to buy Taremi’s pass.
