Tottenham sign James Maddison from Leicester

English international midfielder James Maddison, from Leicester, has signed with Tottenham until 2028, the London English Football League club reported today.

Trained in Coventry, a club from his homeland, Maddison, 26, went through the Scots in Aberdeen and Norwich, before signing, in 2018/19, for Leicester.

According to the English press, Tottenham will have paid around 40 million euros for the English international, who could not avoid the descent of the ‘foxes’ to the second division.

In the service of Leicester, Maddison won an FA Cup and a Super Cup, both in 2021, having played three times for England.
