The Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (KTM) won this Sunday the Moto GP Thailand Grand Prix, the 17th of 20 races of the season, held in the wet.
The Portuguese qualified for this race in 11th position and ended up winning, in a race that started late due to the heavy rain that hit the Chang International Circuit.
The Portuguese rider, who achieved his fifth victory in MotoGP, the second of the year, concluded the 25 laps with an advantage of 0.730 seconds over the Australian Jack Miller (Ducati) and 1.968 over the Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), who was third.
The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who was only 17th, maintains the championship lead, but now with only two points ahead of Bagnaia.
